| Mahidol University strives to internationalize
its educational mission and advance
its teaching and research efforts to
meet global standards of excellence.
The University actively pursues international
contacts with overseas universities
and institutes for cooperative activities
including student and faculty exchange,
joint training programs, organizing
academic conferences and seminars, as
well as other types of academic cooperation. At present, we have cooperative
agreements with over 150 universities

Mahidol University is also an active
member of various academic network and
associations worldwide including Global
University Network for Innovation (GUNI), Asean-European
University Network (ASEA-UNINET), ASEAN
University Network (AUN), Association
of Southeast Asia Institutions of Higher
Learning (ASAIHL). Many Faculties/Institutes
also network with their counterparts
in their respective areas of interest.

Mahidol University’s traditional
strengths in medicine have been recognized
by the
United Nations' World Health Organization
(WHO) to designate seven WHO Collaborating
Centres at different university
Faculties and Institutes. The following
WHO Collaborating Centers not only help
to strengthen the country’s resources
to support national health development,
but they also form part of the WHO’s
network for regional and international
collaboration:
