Presentation Ceremony of
The Australian Federal Police
(AFP) - Australian Embassy
Scholarship 2008 was held
at the Faculty of Science
Mahidol University on Wednesday
28th May, 2008, 3pm. The
ceremony started with Professor
Skorn Mongkolsuk, Dean Faculty
of Science, welcome Acting
Ambassador of Australian
Embassy - Ms. Bronte Moules,
Mr. Hermann Metz-Manager
of Forensic Support and
Data Centres, AFP representatives,
Commissioner of the Royal
Thai Police Office of Forensic
Science - Police Lt. General
Amporn Charujinda, Director
of Central Institute of
Forensic Science – Assoc.
Prof. Dr. Khunying Porntip
Rojanasunan, and distinguish
guests.
The
Australian scholarships
were offered to 6 staffs
from the Royal Thai Police
Office of Forensic Science
(RTPOFS) and Central Institute
of Forensic Science (CIFS)
to pursue their study in
the Master of Science in
Forensic Science International
Program at the Faculty
of Science, Mahidol
University. Each
Scholarship is 300,000 THB,
covers tuition, thesis and
research fees for 1 academic
year. This is a part of
the Thai Forensic Science
capacity building program
supported by the Australian
government being endorsed
through the Faculty of Science
Mahidol University.
The
recipients were Ms. Kannika
