This is the first international piano contest in Thailand that gives tempting rewards such as cash, trophy, certificates and a Yamaha C3 Grand Piano which is a generous complimentary from the Yamaha Siam. The delegates of this competition come from Thailand and other countries i.e., South Korea, Greece, Malaysia, Russia, France, US, Taiwan and China.

The final competition took place at the auditorium, College of Music, Mahidol University (Salaya Campus) on March 21, 2008. The College of Music, Mahidol University was honored to have Professor Clinic Dr. Piyasakon Sakonsattayathorn, the president of Mahidol University and Khunying Pattama Leeswadtrakul, Honorary Regent of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) to present the Souvenir to the jury and presented the flowers and prize to the winner. Many distinguished guests came to witness the competition: the ambassadors to Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, the Embassy of Greece, and the Embassy of Russia Federation.
