the 6th Seminar on Food-
and Water-borne Parasitic
Zoonoses (FBPZ6) in corperating
the 3rd International Meeting
on Gnathostomiasis, 2-4
December 2009 at Centara
Grand & Bangkok Convention
Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr.
Pratap Singhasivanon, Dean
of the Faculty of Tropical
Medicine and Chairman of
the Organizing Committee,
and Prof. Sylvia Paz Diaz
Camacho, University of Sinaloa,
Mexico welcomed all delegates
in the Prof. Jong Yil Chai,
of the Department of Parasitology
and Tropical Medicine, Seoul
National University College
of Medicine, gave the keynote
lecture on “Foodborne helminthiases
in Southeast Asia”. The
Meeting was officially opened
by Assoc. Prof. Sansanee
Chaiyaroj, Vice President
for Research and Academic
Affairs, Mahidol University.
This 3-day event has attracted
over 700 participants from
32 countries.
