2009. Quacquarelli Symonds
Ltd. (QS) is the organizer
of the ranking. The ranking
came from five criteria,
which include Asian academic
peer review 30%, Asian employer
review 10%, student/faculty
ratio 20%, bibliometrics
– papers per faculty and
citations per paper 30%,
international factors 10%
(international faculty /
international students /
inbound exchange students
and outbound exchange students).
From
the ranking, four public
universities from Thailand
ranked in top 100 Asian
Universities: Mahidol Univesity
ranked 30th,
Chulalongkorn University
ranked 35th,
Chiang Mai University ranked
81st, and Thammasat
University ranked 84th.
