On Sept 19, 2010, Mahidol University is deeply saddened by the lost of Clin. Prof. Pradit Chareonthaita-wee, former President of Mahidol University and Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
Clin. Prof. Pradit Chareonthaita-wee was the President of Mahidol University from 1991-1995. His contribution led to the establishment of the National Institute for Child and Family Development and College of Music, Mahidol University. Prior to his lost, he was a distinguished member of the National Human Rights Commission and has been appointed a member of the National Assembly.

9 PM Religious ceremony at Salaseehasopon Dhepsirindravas Temple, Bangkok
(Note: Please do not bring flowers. The organizer will receive donation going toward Siriraj Foundation and The Kidney Foundation of Thailand).
Mahidol University will co-host a funeral prayer service on Tuesday, September 28th, 2010 at 7PM.
