On December 23, 2010, in the meeting room of Outer Santi Maitree Building, the Government House, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, President of National Creative Academy, presided over Creative Academy Awards Ceremony for seven higher educational institutes. In this ceremony, Mahidol University received awards in 1) performing arts, 2) Thai traditional medicine, and 3) historical and cultural places sightseeing.

         On this occasion, Clinical Professor Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D., President of Mahidol University, Assoc. Prof. Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, and Assoc. Prof. Rassmidara Hoonsawat, Interim Dean of International College, were representatives to receive the awards.
