Mahidol University kicked off the open house to showcase its higher education and learning activities as MU President
Clin.Prof.Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn presided over the opening
ceremony of Mahidol Academic Fair 2011 at Mahidol Learning Center at Salaya on August 19.
Ms Kamolporn Ajjanarassamee, a medical student at Siriraj Hospital and the chair of MU student bodies afterwards gave the university’s executives and guests of honor a tour of activities at the center that include:
• MU Exhibition
• Body/mind Health Promotion
• MU Hospital, offering integrated check-up services
• From MU to ASEAN
• World Rabies Day 2011
The group was then guided around the campus on a tram before stopping at the Office of the President, which was the venue for MU Admissions and MU Open House—counseling in the university’s higher education and programs, and introduction to MU campus life and activities
Mahidol Academic Fair 2011 took place on August 19-20 at Salaya, with the main venues spread among the Office of the President, Mahidol Learning Center, Faculty of Science and Nursing School of Ramathibodi Hospital. Besides the designated zones, there was open house at faculties including Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Faculty of Medical Technology, and Faculty of Engineering. Mahildol’ s other campuses—Phyathai, Bangkoknoi, Kanchanaburi, Amnaj Charoen and Nakhonsawan—also opened booths at the fair.
