Mahidol University President Clin. Prof. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn presided over the opening ceremony of a national conference on “Positive Energy for Children: A Catalyst for Change in the Development of Thai Children and Youths” at Phanu Rangsi Ballroom, Royal River Hotel, Bangkok on October 3, 2011.

          The gathering also featured the launch of the Facts for Life Thai Online website; a keynote speech titled “Positive Approaches to Working with the Future of the Nation” by Dr. Saisuree Chutikul, former minister of the Office of the Prime Minister for women and children affairs; and an exhibition titled “Thai Children with Positive Hearts.”

          The conference was co-organized by Mahidol University’s National Institute for Child and Family Development and Thai Health Promotion Foundation.
