On August 5, 2011, at Office of the President, Her Royal Highness Princess Somsawalee presided over the opening ceremony of “Mahidol University Mother’s Day 2011” that the University had organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit’s Birthday on August 12th.

         In this special event, Mahidol University also organized “Outstanding Mom Award” contest to recognize and honor outstanding contribution and vital role a mother play in society. The other activity is free health checkup and dental service for public that coming to join this event start at 7.00 a.m. -15.30 p.m.
