On January 27, 2011, at Royal Princess Hotel, Bangkok, Prof. Rajata Rajatanavin, President of Mahidol University presided over at a luncheon in honor of the Prince Mahidol Award 2011 Awardees.

          The Prince Mahidol Award 2011 in the field of medicine is given to Professor Aaron T. Beck, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania, Honorary President of the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and the same field is jointly awarded to Dr. David T. Wong, Adjunctive Professor, Neurobiology, Department of Psychiatry, Indiana University School of Medicine, U.S.A.
          The Prince Mahidol Award 2010 in the field of Public Health is given to Dr. Ruth F. Bishop, Professorial Fellow, Department of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne, Senior Principal Research Fellow, Murdoch Children Research Institute, Australia.
