2, H.E. Prof. Sabo Ojano, Vice President,
and Mr. Vutha Chan, Head, Office of the
QA & Assessment, International
University, Cambodia visited
Mahidol University to discuss academic
collaboration concerning the medical doctor
exchange program, Master’s degree
study, field trip of pharmaceutical students,
and intensive program for medical students. |

On March 13, Delegations
from the
National Accreditation Board of Malaysia
visited Mahidol to carry out a benchmarking
exercise.
They considered Mahidol University
as one of their benchmark partners for
the first category (research intensive
university). |

On 25 July 2007 H.E.
Dato Mustapa Mohamed, Minister
of Higher Education Malaysia led
a delegation of the Public University
Vice Chancellors and high-ranking officials
from Ministry of Higher Education to
visit Mahidol University to discuss
possible collaboration and strengthen
mutual understanding between Thai and
Malaysian Universities.
A warm welcome was given by Prof. Pornchai
Matangkasombut, President of Mahidol
University and the university’s
administrators. |

On 15 October 2007,
Mr. Sander van den Eijncen, President
of Nuffic
(the Netherlands Organization for International
Cooperation in Higher Education) and
Mr. Jo van Ham, Deputy Director General,
Ministry of Education, Cultural and
Science visited Mahidol University to
learn about the university’s international
student exchange policy and discuss
academic cooperation opportunities particularly
in the area of student exchange.
They were welcomed by Prof. Srisin
Khusmith, Vice President for Research,
Asst. Prof. Nopamart Trakranrungsie,
Dr. Pattama Patpong, Mr. Brian J. Phillip
and Ms. Boonyarat Suwanchinda. |
