    Master plan 2008 aimed to develop Mahidol University to be “an ideal campus” providing good atmosphere for learning and having physical structure which harmonized with society and environment.

  • Energy and Climate Change

    Mahidol University has committed to increase the effort in efficient energy usage and concern about the climate change such as efficient energy appliances, renewable energy, GHG emission reductions policy, etc.

  • Waste Management

    MU3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) are Mahidol University's major goal to create a sustainable environment. Waste minimization and Recycling program, policy to reduce the use of paper and plastic in campus are recently applied.

  • Water Management

    The reduction of water usage is one of the Corporate KPIs cascaded to every faculty, including water conservation program also applied.

  • Transportation

    To promote Mahidol Green University concept, the cycling lanes and pedestrian walkway system were comprehensively developed. The parking areas were constructed and adjusted into green open spaces. The public transportation both inside and outside link are facilitated.

  • Education for Green

    Mahidol University recognizes that the awareness of the environment conservation and sustainability are important. Therefore, the number of acedemic courses, researches, and activities related to environmental are encouraged for sustainable developement.
